先日、ごまにが無事２才を迎えました。
少し教えたら、指を二本出して、「にちゃい（２才）」が言えるようになりました。
最近のお気に入りは、「きらきら星」です。
手を上にあげてきらきらのポーズをしながら、「きらきら、ひ・か・ゆ〜」と歌う姿はかなりかわいいです。（←親ばか）
この日のケーキはシフォンケーキ。
久しぶりに作りましたが、小さい型で量を少なくして焼いたので、いつもよりだいぶんらくちんに思いました。
というわけで、また手前味噌です。。。。
ただし。
今回も飾り付けを子どもたちにしてもらったのですが。。。
うっかりしていました。
シフォンケーキの上にイチゴをたくさんのせるのは失敗でした。
せっかく空気をふくんでふんわりできていたのに、上に重いものをのせたのでかなりしぼんでしまいました。
ま、おいしかったけどね。

シフォンケーキは私も敷居が高く思っていた時期があったのですが、やってみたら意外に簡単でした。
どうせ、自分で泡立てるのではなく泡立て器でがーっと混ぜるだけですから。。。
主人がその昔イギリスのどちらかのお宅でいただいたシフォンケーキがとてもおいしかったと言っていたので、うーん、挑戦してみようかと一度作ってみたら、あら簡単、というわけで最近作るようになりました。
シュークリームは確かに高嶺の花です。確かCROCCO様宅ではご主人さまがとてもおいしいシュークリームをお作りになるという噂をうかがったことがあるような気がします。すごくすてきなご夫婦といつも思っています。

さて、ケーキ♡ シフォンだなんて～シフォンだなんて～～～♪憧れ続けているケーキです。フルーツ沢山で美味しそう～～～♡だけど、挑戦したことがないのです。なぜなら、膨らまないとショックで二度と焼きたくなくなってしまいそうだから(過去にシュークリームのシューを焼いて、シュー煎餅と言われたのがトラウマで、それ以降焼いていない、という実績アリ)
